Spring

Time to fully enjoy the scenery and outdoor activities

The outbreak of spring is a long-awaited moment in Penedès. The vineyard clearly shows the weeping, and from there, the first buds that will start a new life cycle. The margins are filled with photogenic poppies, here and there we find the yellow of the rapeseed fields, the rows of vines show the first roses and the fields of blooming peach trees offer such a spectacular scenery that there are guided tours to see them.

If the rain is kind to visitors -though very necessary in the fields- there are many moments of sunshine to bask on activities of all sorts, especially outdoor activities.

Spring is usually the time to enjoy bike rides and walks through vineyard paths, to spend the day with the family in natural areas and even to go to the beach and see it in the calmest moments. More fun things to do? Wine tourism in all its forms! Most wineries  include tours to their vineyards, picnic activities and tastings in their wine bars and terraces. Don't worry, if it is cold, the wineries can always do the tastings indoors!
