The origins of wine and cava

Museums to learn about the wine history of Penedès

Penedès has been a wine growing, winemaking region since the olden times and, therefore, this has shaped the landscape, our culture and traditions. Wine is present in every house and represents an economic engine for local families.

The museums and interpretation centers focused on the history and culture of wine have the mission of preserving, communicating and spreading our wine heritage, showing its vestiges and historical elements, and giving a context to visitors to understand its impact within our territory and thus to be able to appreciate the value that wine has for us.
