Visit and tasting of cheeses and wines at Xerigots

The Obrador de Xerigots, in an old 19th century warehouse on Calle Comerç in Vilafranca, there is a space for refining cheeses, in old ceramic cups where wine was previously stored.

The proposal is a visit to learn about the cheese refining process, the facilities, and afterwards, the tasting: a tasting of 5 wines with 20 cheeses. It's quite a meal! It is a tour to learn about different ways of making cheese, putting the senses to the test to differentiate the types of milk and the degrees of maturation. And, at the same time, see how special the symbiosis of wine and cheese and the intensities of a pairing can be.
