Summer evenings at Olèrdola Castle

The Museum of Archeology of Catalonia and Olèrdola City Council invite you to enjoy one more year this year’s evenings with two summer Saturdays at the Olèrdola Historical Complex in a different way.
Guided walks, a special escape room, the observation of the stars, musical performances, and the enjoyment of the sunset behind the Penedès landscape, in the middle of an orange and reddish mosaic.
As a novelty this year, the figure of Mir Geribert will be an important part of the historical discourse of some of the activities we present. During 2021, the Any Mir Geribert project, with which the MAC Olèrdola collaborates, proposed to speak and make known the historic Penedès through the ancient city of Olèrdola and the myth of the Prince of Olèrdola. The project is still going on, and with it we want to tell an interesting and intense episode in the medieval history of Penedès.
SCHEDULE ACTIVITIES
- From 19:00 to 20:00 Guided tour "Mir Geribert, the Prince of Olèrdola"
- From 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm Guided tour “Wine and wineries of the medieval city”
- From 19:00 to 20:30 h External escape "The secret of the Prince of Olèrdola"
- From 20:00 to 21:30 h Outdoor escape "The secret of the Prince of Olèrdola"
- From 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm Concert. María Esteban with the show Voces Veladas
- From 9.30 pm to 11 pm Astronomical observation with the Sabadell Astronomical.
Throughout the evening there will be a local catering service with the Restaurant El Conill and the winery Mulet Viticultors
