Celler Vell Cava

Celler Vell was founded in the year 1954 by our father Pere Estruch Casanovas, in the centre of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. During the last part of the 80’s, we moved to the current location at the environs, among vineyards and with one of the best panoramic views of the town and also of the surroundings.

We are specialized in cava and we feature 3 product’ ranges: the Traditional, with the emblematic coupages of Xarel·lo, Macabeu and Parellada, and the orthodoxy of the Brut Nature Reserva, our best-seller; the Special, with the incorporation of the varieties of Chardonnay, used with white wines, and the Pinot Noir with rosé, which ends improving the good basis of the classical or traditional blending; and the High or Gourmet range, with cavas such as Cuvée Les Solanes Nature, which developes its first fermentation in oak barrels and that has just won a Gold Medal in the 50 Great Cavas’ contest, and the Estruch Nature Gran Reserva ECO, Vinari’ award 2014, as the best ecological sparkling wine Gran Reserva.

Cavatren HO is a Model Railroad (HO Layout) that we exhibit in the unique setting of our cava hid under the typical catalan arch, surrounded by thousands of bottles in rows and pupitres. You will be able to contemplate the train tracks which cross the Penedès, such as Rodalies, the high-speed trains (Aves), merchandise and commuter trains, in action. You will also watch the AP-7 motorway and a number of vehicles travelling, all of it in a landscape of vineyards freely inspired in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia and its environs
