Can Llopis Romantic Museum is located in a neoclassical building, built in 1793. Its name is given to the first owner, the notary Manuel Llopis i Falç, who acquired it to his cousin, Josep Bonaventura Falç i Roger, who He had built it initially for him within the perimeter of land that was built outside the walls of the village, which was the first site of Sitges in the late eighteenth century.

In 1793, a member of one of the most traditional families of Sitges, Josep Bonaventura Falç, built a new house outside the walled enclosure. Shortly after the Sick related to another Sitgean family, the Llopis, and the house happened to be called with the present name. Can Llopis was a witness to the history of the 19th century in Sitges. A century full of social, economic, cultural and technological innovations. Bernardí Llopis i Pujol, born in 1822, was a paradigmatic representative of this splendor. It promoted the family industry of the manufacture of malvasia, this sweet wine characteristic of the town of Sitges and that currently is only cultivated in the vineyards of the Hospital, donation of the Llopis family. In 1935, the house was ceded to the public institutions and in 1949 it was inaugurated as a romantic museum. It is an excellent example to see how it lived in the traffic from the 18th to the 19th centuries. The decoration of the interiors reveals the extent to which the romantics took care of each detail and every corner of their homes. The Museum also exhibits the collection of old dolls from the artist and writer Lola Anglada (1892-1984) that brings together 400 pieces from different countries and different periods. (XVII-XIX Century).
