Registration for the ‘VIII CACO, Walk or Run’, the Women’s Race, which will be held on Sunday 13 March, is now open. This is a popular 5 km race for all ages, with no timing or classifications - except for the top three finishers - and is part of the commemoration of March 8, International Women's Day. The route can be done on foot or by running, and 20% will be on asphalt and the remaining 80% on rural roads.
The start of the race will be at 11 am from Generalitat Street (in front of the Sports Center), and the finish line will be located in Plaça 1 d'Octubre. The race will end at 12:30 p.m. The numbers will be collected and the t-shirts and buffs will be delivered from 10 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.
This year part of the registration will go to La Marató de TV3 for Mental Health

What does the activity include
  • A directed fifteen-minute warm-up.
  • There will be refreshments during the tour.
  • There will be a guided stretching activity on arrival.
Additional information
  • Registration for the race costs 6 euros with a T-shirt, and 4 euros with a buff only.
  • All registrations include accident insurance, refreshments and a gift.
  • It is mandatory for participants to follow the indicated route.
  • Bath and shower facilities are available at the sports center.
