Calafell Històric organizes a visit to the Hermitage of Sant Miquel so that everyone can learn its secrets and history of the Romanesque to Gothic transition that dates back to 1238. It is known that in a visit in 1777, the altar located inside the hermitage was dedicated to Saint Miquel, who shares the name with the building. It burned down during the Civil War in 1936, but the Calafell town council restored it in 1991.
