The Fòrum Berger Balaguer of the Pinnae Foundation hosts from June 30 to August 7, 2022 an exhibition of drawings by Josep Mª Subirachs with the intention of tributing to one of the best artists in our country in the s. XX.
Drawing is the first stage of any work of art, but it is also, in itself, a definite genre that is as important as the rest of the arts. Subirachs, best known as a sculptor, considered drawing to be, among the visual arts, the seed, the origin, the foundations, the truth.
The drawings on display in this exhibition are not exclusively preparatory sketches of sculptures, but are drawings with their own entity, with an individual theme.
