Ruta Torre-Ramona, sorprenent i misteriosa
11 hours
One of the most unknown historical centers of the Penedès, formed by a monumental complex, with the Romanesque church of Sant Joan Sesrovires, is the fortified palace of Gothic-Renaissance style that gives its name to the nucleus and different buildings of medieval origin, as well as the headquarters of the Sant Sadurní Brotherhood of Cava.
The medieval village of Torre-ramona, with only fifty inhabitants, can be visited through the Torre-ramona guided route, surprising and mysterious.
The visit passes through the interior of the church of Sant Joan Sesrovires and the parish cemetery, the walled enclosure and the interior patio of the Palau Gralla and the Sant Sadurní Brotherhood of Cava.
The village is surrounded by vineyards, at the foot of the Castle of Subirats, on the banks of the torrota d’en Pasteres and near the River Anoia. A unique environment for walking that offers images that cannot be avoided being portrayed.
