Visit Cava Rovellats and enjoy a tasting of our most emblematic cavas with selected local cheeses.

Our visit “Premium”, like the “Reserva” one, introduces you to the fascinating world of the Cava making process and the intimate world of Rovellats family, although with an exclusive tasting of our flag cavas matched with a selection of local artisan cheeses.

To discover our Rovellats history, we start with a little walk in our beautiful modernist gardens. Following that we visit our 15th century small “Masia”- farmhouse in Catalan language- which gives its name to one of our most emblematic cavas.

Next to it we have the private family chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat, Catalonia´s patroness, built by our grandfather in the early 20th century.

We will take a walk through our vineyards located right in front of our winery and we will explain the work that is carried out during the four seasons of the year.

Later, we will enter the magical world of the elaboration of our cavas, discovering together the winery and the cellar where we make our still wines and our long-aged cavas.

After explaining the cava production process, we will make an ARTISAN DISGORGEMENT of a Reserva cava with more than 24 months of aging, and we will tast it in the winery.

All the Rovellats cavas are made exclusively with our own grapes and according to the traditional method or Méthode Champenoise

In our 12 meters deep underground cellar is where our still wines become beautiful elegant cavas thanks to their long and silent ageing time in bottle.

This space is our beloved “Rotonda”, a six-pointed star shaped wine cellar with a central roundabout, unique in its structure.

The most exclusive moment of this visit is enjoying a guided tasting of 4 great Rovellats cavas. We will taste and distinguish our Reserva Imperial Brut and our Gran Reserva  Brut Nature, we will hear how we elaborate the Reserva Imperial Rosé  Brut and what makes so special our most emblematic cava in Rovellats: the Masia S. XV, a Gran Reserva with a minimum of 84 months of aging in bottle.

We will accompany this great selection of cavas with a tasting of 4 artisan cheeses from small Catalan producers.

Take a break, relax and enjoy this sensory journey along with us.

Visit Cavas Rovellats and discover the history of a land, a family and a personal way of making great cavas of long aging. We are just 50 minutes away from Barcelona city, in the heart of Penedès region, in Catalonia.
