Penedès 360 Challenge, the sports event in Penedès, will take place on October 2
On October 2, the Penedès 360 Challenge returns, with a 23 km Trail Running race, the Mitja d'Ull de Llebre and a Gravel race, Gravel Penedès, to choose between two distances, 80 and 50 km.
This is the 2nd edition of this sporting event, which this year will offer a trail running race and, for bike lovers, a gravel one, new this 2022. Runners and cyclists who want to participate can now formalize the your registration through the test web portal.
The town of Pla del Penedès will host these tests whose main objective is to make the entire Penedès area known, running or cycling between vineyards and discovering the territory and its possibilities for the practice of sport.
The Penedès 360 Challenge will have different modalities, the main one being the trail running, which a hill track of just over 23 kilometers with a difference in altitude of 295 meters. This is a quick race that basically travels along paths and trails among vineyards.
The gravel race, the Gravel Penedès, will not leave anyone indifferent in its premiere. This is a non-competitive itinerary that allows you to get to know the different landscapes of the Penedès by bike, traveling along paths and tracks with a good pace for cyclists and secondary roads, ideal for both gravel bikes, mountain bikes or E-bikes. Cyclists can participate in two distances, 80 and 50 kilometers. This race was born with an eye already on the future, as it aspires to stay in the long run and become a date to have in the sports events calendar.
At the same time, during the entire sports day, parallel activities will also be offered so that athletes and supporters may enjoy the setting in el Pla del Penedès and its surroundings. Alone, in a team or with the family, the Penedès 360 Challenge has been designed, above all, to offer a morning that is not only sporting, as it is also conceived as a place to meet and get to know each other by sharing a sausage sizzle between all the participants at the end of the day , collaborators and friends.
