With the performance of Laia Molins, tap dancer soloist and Hèctor Artal and Sònia Ortega, world-winning dance partner in Lindy-hop
Men in Swing is a love story declared by a group of musicians towards a popular musical genre that shares energy, dynamism and improvisation with the dance that accompanies it, be it tap or Lindy-hop. On this occasion, the group expands to reach a big band, which is the maximum expression of the sound of jazz with 100 years of history, to celebrate the jewel of living Men in swing this year, which has taken 10 years
He likes the seriousness with which they take this fun, the impeccable and elegant staging, and the guiding thread throughout the show around the history of swing. Very careful musical arrangements that project all the musical wealth, on the one hand, aim to emulate the great bands of the golden age of swing.
Laia Molins: tap dancer soloist, creator and pedagogue, is the expressiveness made rhythm, from head to to to toe
Héctor Artal and Sònia Ortega: jazz music is simple and complex, so this dance pair creates dynamics to express this simplicity and complexity through their dance.
