Andrea Motis offers us a duet concert with one of the musicians who have accompanied him in his meteoric career as a great trumpet artist at all levels in the musical scene of our time in Josep Traver.

Josep Traver and Andrea Motis are two of the best-known figures in the Catalan jazz world. Motis has been one of the great young and prolific talents, and Traver, on the other hand, accumulates a proven and eclectic career through various styles close to jazz and American music. They have collaborated on several occasions, their paths have been continuously crossed.

Both have been known for years thanks to the Sant Andreu Jazz Band - where Motis began to take the first steps, and with whom Traver has collaborated on several occasions-, and since then its paths have been continuously crossed until now, which form Joan Chamorro & Andrea Motis together. Now, Traver confides to the young artist her new single, a particular version of the "Moon River" that we premiere today.

This classic, originally composed by the soundtrack of the film Breakfast at Tiffany's, is a regular in the repertoire of Motis, who already sang in his beginnings in the Catalan jazz band by Joan Chamorro. In this new version, and also featuring Chamorro himself, Traver adds his careful guitar chords and solos to complement the folk sounds of Tom Corbett's mandolin. A review of the archicone piece that flies to the moon cradled by Motis' vocal timbre and the harmonic subtlety that Traver gives to the theme.

This concert, an absolute gift for all the senses!
