Tour of the great hits of the '90

What does the activity include

Clarence Bekker lands this edition with the whole band, with the virtue of reaching the soul of anyone who listens to it more strongly. She has a deep, magnetic and vibrant voice that dignifies the repertoire of the great masters of soul, funk and pop history. In his long career, he has played with bands such as 08001 and achieved memorable successes, such as recording a version of “Stand by Me” with millions of reproductions on the network or participating in the international Playing for Change project.

With the Clarence Bekker Band, which he founded in 2016, the Surinamese musician has brought together some of the best performers in Barcelona, traveled around the world and recorded a celebrated album, “Changes” (Jazz Activist, 2020), which confirms him as one of the great artists of soul, funk and r’n’b of our times.

There are artists who only need a couple of good chords, a voice with personality, and a story to tell reaching the soul in a matter of seconds. True soul singers are spared from appliances to transmit, and, do not hesitate, Clarence Milton Bekker is on this chosen payroll. Born in Suriname, but of Dutch nationality, his career has led him down countless paths.

Listening to him live, you'll forget this nostalgia for Marvin Gaye that we all carry inside. You'll get excited again about soul as if it were the first time.
