Gravel Penedès Vilafranca is a gravel and bikepacking event that offers you an experience to discover Vilafranca and Penedès by bicycle, with 5 routes of different distances and difficulties, so that everyone can find the suitable challenge according to their interests and abilities.
Gravel Penedès Vilafranca will give you kilometers of good memories, but in addition to pedaling, you can enjoy the wine, culture, festivities, and traditions of the region.

(You can choose from 5 different routes with varying distances and difficulties, so everyone can find a challenge suitable to their interests and abilities).
- PRE-RIDE GRAVEL PENEDÈS VILAFRANCA PARTY (On Saturday afternoon, all participants and companions are invited to the Pre-Ride Gravel Penedès Vilafranca Party: live music, wine and pizza tastings, and a great atmosphere to welcome you and prepare for the challenge the next day).

- OTHER SERVICES (Satellite tracking, refreshment stations on the route and at the finish line, dressing rooms, cloakrooms, access to indoor pools, gym, and hydro-massage area, pump track, camping area for camper vans and RVs, camping area for tents and bivouacs, guarded area for bicycles, bike cleaning space, childcare service).
Gravel Penedès Vilafranca is a march, whose routes have been designed for gravel bikes to be the most efficient, but any type of bicycle that can safely travel on unpaved roads (gravel, MTB, e-Bike, tandem, etc.) can participate. In the "Bikepacking" route, e-Bikes are not allowed.
It is not a competitive race, but it is a challenge. There will be no race numbers, classifications, or trophies, but there will be prizes: if you complete your route, you will receive a commemorative "finisher prize" from Gravel Penedès Vilafranca.
For the monitoring and safety of the participants, there will be control of arrival times.
The roads, highways, and streets will be open to traffic, and there will be no restrictions or control of other vehicles. It is necessary to respect the traffic laws and other users of the network of roads and highways.
The routes will not be marked, and it will be necessary to have your own satellite navigation device to follow the established itinerary (GPS, mobile phone with navigation app, etc.).
Each route will have a maximum time to complete it. However, do not worry too much about the clock and enjoy the itinerary, raising your gaze to discover the landscape.
Each route will have several departure times, with a limited number of participants, to avoid saturation of the roads and minimize the impact on other users. At the time of registration, you can choose your preferred departure time, which the organization will try to respect.
