This is the visitors centre of the Simón Coll chocolate factory, located in Sant Sadurni d’Anoia. There you will enjoy a unique experience with all five senses. Are you ready?

We’ve been making our chocolate since 1840, working from the cocoa bean to the final product, taking care of every stage of the process. At Espai Xocolata you will live an incredible experience where you will learn about cocoa and chocolate’s history and culture, and how Simón Coll chocolate is produced today. Come with us and live with all five senses the Simón Coll experience. During the visit you will be able to enjoy:

The 180º audiovisual area

Have you ever wondered what a cocoa tree is like? Using an audiovisual montage on spectacular panoramic screens, we will transport you to a cocoa plantation so that you can discover the process of making the raw material, find out how the cocoa pods and beans get to the factory and learn how we then turn them into chocolate.

The traditional workshop

The old Simón Coll workshop, with its genuine antique machines, will start up to show you how the process of making chocolate has changed from its origins until today. Using a visual montage, these machines will come to life and interact with master chocolatiers, who will show us how they worked more than 100 years ago in this factory.

The production line

Chocolates are one of our specialties. Do you want to see how we make them? Through glass, you will see a part of our current factory where we make our products every day. It is one of the Simón Coll production lines, as well as the experimental line, where we make new products and experiments with textures and flavours. For hygienic and safety reasons, you will not be allowed to enter the production area but you will be able to see this line at work from Monday to Saturday (according to real production needs)

Chocolate tasting

Put your senses to the test. During the visit, you will be offered a fresh made chocolate and we will explain you how to taste it properly. This is something that you will only be able to experience if you come to the Simón Coll factory.
