"Música als jardins" returns in the incomparable setting of the museum gardens, where we will be able to listen to young musicians from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) who have prepared special programs to enjoy classical music in a unique space.

The Vivancos Quartet is a young formation that emerged at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in 2019, with the guide of the renowned Casals Quartet, who awarded them an Honorary Enrolment to successfully conclude their stage at the ESMUC.

With outstanding training, they have received master classes from members of important groups such as the Alban Berg Quartet, the Modigliani Quartet, the Cosmos Quartet, the Kronos Quartet, the Artemis Quartet, and have shared experiences with prominent musicians such as Sol Gabetta and Gaultier Capuçon, among others. The recognition of the Musical Youth of Germany has allowed them to participate on several occasions in the prestigious Weikersheim course, aimed at string quartets and other chamber ensembles. In addition, they have been selected as one of the four groups for the Professional Conference for Chamber Training, organized by the Institut Ramon Llull, the Quartet Casals and the ICEC. Also, since this year, they have been part of an agreement with the ESMuC as a resident chamber group.

In 2019, they starred in their first major event inaugurating, together with the Kronos Quartet, the Grec Festival. In the summer of 2021, they were invited to the prestigious Pablo Casals International Festival in Prades, acting as a quartet and forming part of the orchestra of the festival. His return to the 2024 Summer Festival demonstrates the continuity of his success.
