The Music in the Gardens cycle returns in the incomparable setting of the museum gardens, where we will be able to listen to young musicians from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) who have prepared special programs to enjoy classical music in a unique space.

With a solid base at KASK & Consevatorium Gent, MISSIM DUO emerged from a shared passion for chamber music, fueled by its participation in the opera production “Diodo and Aeneas” in 2023. His distinctive approach involves exploring various musical genres, from classicism to Impressionism, with the creation of his own adaptations as the core of his artistic identity.

The search for musical discoveries that resonate with both members, precisely with the act of making adaptations themselves, reflects the creative dynamics of MISSIM DUO. Focusing on intimate concerts in small circles, they aim to strengthen the link between the audience and the artist. The unconventional composition of cello and guitar not only inspires his musical performances but also informs the workshops and seminars we organize, inviting other chamber musicians to venture beyond conventional limits.

Thanks to this unique approach, the ensemble has already offered numerous exclusive and intimate concerts both in Belgium and Catalonia. The ensemble's career has been shaped by renowned music lessons such as Pieter Jansen and MAArten Vandernbemden, expanding its artistic horizons and securing a distinctive place within the world of chamber music.
