With this visit we will delve into the life, customs and leisure of the Catalan industrial bourgeoisie.
Peñafort Castle, which had functioned as a convent for two centuries, ended its monastic life in 1836. After Mendizábal's disentailment, industrialist Miquel Puig, founder of Colonia Sedó de Esparraguera, became the new owner of the estate. . A few years later, the property was inherited by his son Josep Puig i Llagostera, who converted the property into a wine farm and summer residence.
At the end of the guided tour, a vermouth will be offered to the attendees.
