Puigdàlber

Town
Puigdàlber Church of Sant Andreu

Considered the smallest municipality in Catalonia, it covers anarea of 40 hectares, of which 35 are devoted to vine-growing. Legend says that two bells full of gold, originally from the Roman city of Malta, were found there, buried by an earthquake. Perhaps it is only a legend, but the archaeological remains show that the village has its origins in the Roman conquest of the Mediterranean region.
